A simple casserole for making beef pasta in a delicious tomato sauce with lots of melted cheese!

On these colder winter days I often feel like eating something cozy and this pasta with cheese and beef is the perfect solution! This is a one-pan dish, which means that everything is cooked in one pan at the same time and it’s beautiful and simple. It starts with cooking ground beef and onions in a frying pan before adding seasoning, as if Garlic and Italian herbs: oregano, basil, persil and thyme. Pasta is added with tomatoes and beef broth before they are cooked until the pasta is cooked. The last step is to add the cheese, a combination of cream cheese and Cheddar cheese that melts into the Sauce to make it nice and creamy and full of flavor! Delicious! This cheesy and beefy pasta with a frying pan is the perfect comfort food for any time!

Ingredient

1 Pound minced meat
1 onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Basil
1/2 teaspoon Persil
1/2 teaspoon Thyme
salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces pasta (like mussels) (gluten-free for gluten-free)
3 cups beef broth
1 (15 ounce) can tomato puree (or tomato sauce)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce (gluten-free or Tamari for gluten-free)
4 ounces cream cheese, warmed through
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Direction

Cook the beef and onion in a large saucepan over medium heat and separate the meat for about 10-15 minutes while cooking until cooked before draining the excess fat.

Add garlic, oregano, basil, persil, thyme, salt and pepper, stir and cook until fragrant, about a Minute.

Add the pasta, broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered until the pasta is tender, about 8 minutes.

Turn off the heat, mix the cheese and let it melt.

  • Option: Replace oregano, basil, persil and thyme with 1 tablespoon Of Italian spices.
  • Option: Replace cream cheese with 1/2 cup heavy/whipped cream.
  • Option: Use Your Favorite Melted Cheese!
